Wow what a year it has been, 2022 was a very busy year with the alpine markets becoming extremely buoyant. This year demand is still as strong as ever and more properties are finally coming to the market. result - I need to clone myself! Fun times racing around France and Switzerland shooting all sorts of properties. Occasional trips to Nice, Cannes, Ibiza and numerous alpine destinations has kept things very interesting. Bring on the rest of 2023. Big thanks to Sotheby's Chamonix, Mountain Base Knight Frank, Savills International, Barnes International, Hip Chalets, La Floria and the rest of my very cool clients who have provided top pic material!

So a change is as good as a rest - I have had some feedback on my site and off the back of that I have done a bit of a paint job and fixed up a few bits and pieces and voila I think it looks much nicer, how that translates to the real world of reaching clients, that is another thing! Wow, so I do not blog very often it seems! I have just done a little bit of an update to the site, it will be getting a bit of an overhaul shortly, however for now I have corrected stuff that has been about three years out of date and I will slowly be adding newer content onto the home page and so on. The main news is that I now have a new business manager on board so AJP will run more smoothly from now. Any admin questions can be emailed directly to Lizzy Mercer [email protected]. I have not really done much blogging recently! So time for a quick update on Adam Johnston Photography and Filming Services!
Over the last couple of years I have found myself increasingly specializing in property and real estate photography and have also been filming events and promotional films. So I decided a couple of weeks ago to update the site to show this change. I am also now living full time in Chamonix France and am mainly photographing chalets, hotels and properties for sale or for rent in the French Alps, in addition to this I am moving more and more into the film content World. To that end I am making promotional films for luxury holiday companies and Hotels as well as working with event companies making short films of Corporate trips, private ski trips and the like. So there you are, a quick update! Now for some pictures!

At the 2016 World Ski Awards I was very happy to see two of the nominations for the best new Chalet were photographed by me! Especially pleasing was the fact the the two chalets were for completely different companies in different resorts! Even better then when one of them won!! So the two chalets that made the list were Chalet Pont du Cam in Meribel and Chalet Rock 'n Love in Tignes Les Breviers. A little boast blog today, apologies for that!!!!

Just finished shooting and editing a little film for boatsibiza.com. They bought 3 of the fleet round to Cala Conta where I nervously hovered over the sea counting the seconds before the battery runs out and trying to catch them making passes along the coast line!

So it has been a while since I posted any news!! I will be updating the site soon and will introduce a shop/gallery for some of my images which by popular demand (of at least 2 people) will be made available for print.

It has been a busy time in Ibiza. New villas to shoot every day! I have also been experimenting with some new HDR technology which is giving me some great results and lots of extra work hunched over the computer! Here are a few recent images.
So it is a busy time in Ibiza. Everyone getting ready for the Summer and I am running from place to place to update brochures, web sites etc. Here are a few pics from various properties being rented this season.
New apartments just finished up from Sa Punta at Talamanca. Great spot.
Yesterday i filmed over in Benirras, the famous beach in the north of Ibiza. Of course it looks fairly different in mid winter from the height of the summer. Take a look! Using the new aerial rig DJI 550 with a Gopro 3 black edition. Hope you like it.

Been a busy man! Fantastic clients and lots of interesting work recently including this test shoot for http://www.bastian-inverun.de/ which was really fun and major thanks to www.danielaprkuehling.com. Here are a couple of shots. For the tech brigade we were using a Profoto single head with a solid beauty dish with a cloth diffuser and a large Lastolite white reflector back lit by the natural sun of Ibiza!
Just finished a shoot in London for the new skiplex centre. Basically they have converted a squash court into a rolling ski slope. Hard shoot as the lighting was interesting, however we had a great time doing it and our "models" were fantastic. http://www.skiplex.co.uk/
